THANKSGIVING IN BANGOR

Greetings Friends & Family!
We hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!  We have been so very blessed this year and we give God praise for all the blessings of this year.  We had an early morning Surprise on Thanksgiving Day.  Our first snowfall of the season!

Thanksgiving Surprise!  Our first Snowfall!

It's beginning to look like Christmas!

But the roses seem unfazed.

The flowers are determined to hang on!

Our good friends from church, Don & Ginny Mack,  invited us to have Thanksgiving Dinner with them when they found out we were not going to be able to be home for the holiday.  Don is a dairy farmer along with his other brothers.  They live in a lovely big white house (it was Don's parents home for many years).  I took several pictures of the farm which follows...

This calf always greets us when we come to the farm, but just as I snapped the picture, she played "camera shy" with me and turned her head away!

But I'm patient and I'm determined!

The dairy cows always knows when it's time to come in for milking!
T

"Finger-lickin' good!", huh Don?

A Wonderful Thanksgiving Feast!

Following dinner, we played several games of  "Turkey Foot" Dominoes.  It had been several years since we had played that game; I almost forgot how to play!  Of course, any of  you who knows Mitchell,  can  figure out who won...Don & Ginny, I warned you!  I don't know how he does it!!!

Many thanks, Don & Ginny, for a wonderful Thanksgiving Day.  The meal was great and we had a fun day!

Wishing you All His Many Blessings,
Wanda & Mitchell
